about

Almost everytime, a new piece of gear inspires a new song, and the TC-Helicon Voice Live 2 was certainly no exception. This brilliant harmonizer combined with guitar chords to give the harmonized chords in the chorus. It can be cool to use the artificiality of the process, generally considered unmusical if it's too perfect, can still be musical, by ultimately having other equally human (and equally musical) imperfections....just not imperfections of harmonic interval. But the algorithm does nothing with dynamic range...soft to quiet, etc (unless you use the compresser).....your diaphram, mouth, throat, chest and intercostals will still have an overpowering effect over how musical any given phrase is, versus attempts to achieve similar emotion results with digital signal manipulation. It's not IMpossible, IMHO. Heck, some people have been achieving it since (enter suggestion here...)(i.e. Kraftwerk)(Pink Floyd). But where even they succeeded, the backbone of musical talent came across in traditional ways...IMHO. don't kill the repeater. mercy. bless ye. oke. let gee.....hheee hee. wackadee. gipity. wiggity. diggity. diggity daniel uganda mundanity.
Apologies.....insanity seizure....or so it appears to my virgin reading eyes!
But much more importantly, I since posted a picture of my 11 year-old son looking upon his new baby sister, which a loving look not before seen on his face. Some of the first lyrical lines seemed to reflect his mood/intent.

lyrics

I can never look away
I can never pull away......ooooooo
I can never lose my mind today
Would anybody know and what would they say?
Ooooooooooooo
oooooooooooo
aaaaaahhhh
Nothing I Can Do.....(repeated)

Maybe it'll be okay
Would we even know the difference anyway
what if i fin-aly lostt mi mind today?
would anybody know and whawt would they say?
Oooooooooo
oooooooooo
oooooo
aaaaahhhhhh (get away x3)x3 ooooohhhhh
Nothing I can Do (repeat)
Nothing I can Do (repeat)
(there's nothing.....nothing I can do
no matter where I go
no matter what I know
nothing I can do.....)
