This is a song written by Andy White, and is performed here accompanied with the Rain band as such. However, after Andy split town, Remedy adopted this song for it's own repetoire, finding familiarity with it's dark minor feel and rhythmic back-bone. So it ended up being rocked-up somewhat for the opening track on Remedy's sophomore album, "the Tyranny of the Smug". Here, however, lies the Rain's interpretation, just a little less heavy than Remedy's version.
lyrics
I tread a thin line
I walk a jagged edge
I wear no life-line as I stumble on this ledge to you
What more can I do
I will come to you.
I chart a strange tack
sailin' on the tide
The wind lies at my back
As I'm sailin' eyes full wide, full view
What more can I do
I will come to you
I will, yes I will, surely come to you
I will, yes I will, I will surely come to you
Hey look at my face
Do you know why I smile?
There's nothin' you can replace
It's only been here for a while, for now
Well don't ask me how
I will come to you.
I will, yes I will, surely come to you
I will, yes I will, I will surely come...
Oh, I feel it so strong now
Oh, you know it won't be long now
Before we find our way
But for now we're lost with no words to say...
I will, yes I will, I will surely come to you
